Modern Mexican Elixir
The flavor and sweetness of this elixir is indicative of contemporary Mexican hot chocolate. The people of Mexico have favored this milky-sweet preparation of chocolate going back more than 75 years. Traditionally made with dairy milk, though in house at Kakawa we prepare with unsweetened organic almond milk. This recipe is a versatile one, use as a sprinkle on oatmeal, or spoon into your coffee for a little extra flavor. Ingredients: 74% Dark Chocolate, Canela (Mexican Cinnamon), Roasted Almonds, Organic Evaporated Cane Juice, and Vanilla. Soy free. GF, DF, V
