Modern Mexican Elixir

The flavor and sweetness of this elixir is indicative of contemporary Mexican hot chocolate. The people of Mexico have favored this milky-sweet preparation of chocolate going back more than 70 years. Traditionally made with dairy milk, though in house at Kakawa we prepare with unsweetened organic almond milk. Ingredients: 70% Dark Chocolate, Canela (Mexican Cinnamon), Roasted Almonds, Organic Evaporated Cane Juice, and Vanilla.
